Sorting Rainbows! Plus coincidental kanji.

Calli decided to "help" (*cough*HaHa*cough*) Rickson eat his M&M's by sorting and counting them. Luckily he's a good sport and doesn't mind sharing. :P

Did you notice the dragon book that was sitting on the table? It's a neat book Calli came across at the library that shows Japanese kanji symbols for common words in a way kids can relate to... as part of an illustration. She spent the better part of the day thumbing through the book. Well, that evening we decided to get sushi for dinner (unrelated to the book, but a funny coincidence nonetheless). While waiting at the restaurant to pick up our order, Calli picked up the menu and was glancing down it. She pointed out the kanji symbol next to the section labeled "Beef" and said, "Hey, I know that one! It means 'cow'!"
Wow, that was really cool!
